My Story

I have always been inspired by environments. As a child I created secret hideaways in the forest, nests in fields of tall grass, and clubhouses in garage rafters. These spaces spoke to my soul. While I was there minutes spread into hours.

As an adult my passion for environments found a perfect home as I pursued a career in Montessori education. One of the tenets of Montessori philosophy is the importance of the prepared environment in nurturing human development. My twenty-five years of exploring these principles with young children and adolescents has instilled an understanding of the importance of a properly prepared environment for all of us, not just our children. In order to thrive we each need an environment that nurtures us and supports our unfolding life.

About six years ago a book on clearing clutter crossed my path. The ideas resonated deeply. Especially exciting was the understanding that our homes are living beings and our possessions are energetically connected to us. I used the tools in the book within my own home. The results were immediate and dramatic. I felt lighter and happier. Friends and acquaintances asked if I'd lost weight (I hadn't) and said that I looked younger. One friend noticed that the house felt different. He asked if I'd remodeled or repainted all of my rooms. In fact, I had simply reorganized all of the closets! These results got my attention and I began to study Feng Shui in earnest.

The past five years have brought remarkable changes to my life. I completed a year long course of study in Classical Feng Shui and explored other healing modalities such as Reiki, Dowsing and Space Clearing. I have had the opportunity to study with gifted teachers and along the way discovered my own talents and abilities.

One of the most remarkable parts of my journey has been the expansion of my experience as a multi-sensory being. As my intuition has developed, I have better ability to communicate with my own guidance system as well as beings and energies living in other dimensions of time and space. My relationship with the Earth has also deepened. I can now work with the Earth on a much more conscious level and this brings a great deal of joy to my life. These expanded perceptions have become a central aspect to my life, both personally and professionally.
